Summary: What is/was Yoonla? (Also known as Yoonla Academy)
Yoonla was a digital platform exclusively created on the concpet of Pay Per Lead Affiliate program. It pay members for generating leads such as name and email address. You’ll be provided with a series of videos through which you’ll learn how to generate money online. You can be a complete newbie with no idea of internet marketing because Yoonla will teach some of the components of affiliate marketing.
Yoonla priodically moved from one phase to other in number of times such as Yoonla foundation to Yoonla Evolve. I am going to discuss more of the past and the latest version of Yoonla Academy. There are many reasons caused this program shout down. Yoonla program is now no longer supports the commission on the basis of pay per lead model. One reason said to be misuses of Yoonla Pay Per Lead program by affiliates.
Yoonla Academy – Affiliate Review
This new Yoonla Academy program is an avatar of Yoonla Evolve that operated in the past. I am a member of Yoonla program till now and I want to share what I learned from it and what are the cons and pros within a system.
Now the new system is about to take off but before that, you need to learn about the program from a real affiliate because there is something I concern about the new Yoonla Academy.
Yoonla is an affiliate program founded by Reno Van Boven from New Zealand. He started this program in the year 2016 and grown up to 1 million members in the past. This program specifically designed to offer a way to make money for generating leads, name and email address.
Yoonla offered a lead capture page, and affiliates need to generate leads online. It can be from social media or via website traffic.
How Yoonla Was Operated In The Past!
Yoonla had a free membership after the launch of a few months in the year 2016 and then later restricted to only Pro members due to too many spam complaints, fraud and fake traffic from affiliates.
In order to join and make money in Yoonla, the free members need to go through the step-by-step videos to learn how to set up a lead capture page/affilaite link on their own. There was also a custom setup option where “customer support team” will handle all the setup work for the members without additional cost.
How Affiliates Used To Make Money At Yoonla!
Those free registers need to purchase two digital products in order to qualify to promote Yoonla such as – Getresponse autoresponder and Yahoo web-hosting.
After the purchase requirement was completed, affiliates need to submit the purchase details to the customer support that will do all the setup such as integration to an autoresponder and the affiliate link on the registred domain of the affiliates.
The cost for the membership was around $85 both product together. Once custom setup is done, the member has to promote his sales or optin page online to generate commission. Each confirmed lead will earn between $2-$4 respectively that includes pro membership commission from 2 levels – $40+.
How Much Money Did I make In Yoonla Foundation & Yoonla Evolve?
Frankly speaking, I made nearly $10,000 from this program. It was not always a great payout as I was expected. I would always think on a positive note that making some money is better than not being making money. So that was not a big issue for me. There are hundreds of people still holding their membership for a new Yoonla Academy program.
You can see my total earnings from 2017 to up until 10/29/2018.
What I Didn’t Like About Yoonla?
Yoonla had a few restrictions to weed out bad people. It’s obvious that some people/affiliates would misuse the system if there was an easy way to make money. Yoonla requires only to generate leads and nothing else.
At the point, when there were too many spam complaints and fake promises spread out on social media like Facebook and other digital platforms, it almost crashed. I have seen many affiliates promoting Yoonla on Facebook groups promising $500 bonus for creating a free account.
Yoonla Money Making System Was Misused:
The best part about Yoonla was just to email addresses have to be generated to earn money. That’s right, affiliates require only name and email addresses to make money. Yoonla will recoup their income from their affiliate partners – Yahoo hosting and Getresponse when members upgraded.
But many affiliates focused only leads and not quality people. This caused some hiccup in the system releasing payment for active elite/pro members.
Considering all this in mind, Yoonla removed the basic lead commission $2 that were generated from second-tier countries.
That was not a great move because I personally say so many affiliates who actually quit Yoonla on account of this restriction. Around 30% affiliates from second-tier countries who were not able to generate leads. This restriction made many people to pause their account or to go inactive.
Changes on Payment Limit
I usually don’t like any programs that change the core of the business too often. This time Yoonla made another move which really made me upset.
The third move was on payment restriction. It was announced that payment will be paid out only when affiliate generates 2 premium membership with the cashout limit of $200.
If affiliates were not able to generate 2 pro membership they won’t be able to request a payment even they had generated $10,000 in lead commission.
Solo Ads Blocked
If you have been fond of using solo ads, you probably know that solo ads is a way better to generate quality leads then traffic from some free classified websites or free traffic methods.
Yoonla made it again that came up with another move announcing not to use Udimi. This made me very frustrating. Since I have a blog through which I used to generate traffic. However, this could be somewhat hard job for those who don’t own an email list or a blog/website.
Google Adwords or Bing ads are not for beginners because it require multiple tests to learn the basic.
Yoonla Complaints And Reviews
I don’t blame Yoonla for some changes in the system but I didn’t like the way of frequent transition.
I have seen a few reports online from affiliates that claimed they did not receive the money. Some of the affiliates account also have been terminated due to a violation of Yoonla policy.
Who is right and who is wrong, I don’t know.
It happened to me once when I reached $3500 in a particular month, I received an email asking me to prove my traffic secrets and sources to save my account before permanently taken down. I showed everything however they kept my account active but reduced my earnings to $250. That was a disappointing part in my Yoonla journey.
God’s grace, I didn’t spend any money on paid advertising so that didn’t impact me much expect my blog traffic.
Still, you’ll find a few affiliates who say on Youtube that their accounts have been deactivated without any prior notice. Sometimes I would think to quit but since I was making somewhat around $250-$400 every month, I postponed that idea. After my first warning I stopped focusing Yoonla much.
I moved on to another reliable program to make money. Nonetheless, I would just redirect some of my email subscribers to Yoonla now and then. I moved away from Yoonla to Builderall for so many reasons.
The reasons are Builderall pays 100% commission for every sale, 30% monthly commission from my affilaites, another 30% commission from my second tier affiliate.
Also, I can create unlmited landing pages/lead cpature pages, blogs, apps, autoresponder that includes unlimited sending, team sales funnel, ready made affilaite link, maximum cookie duration, $500 per month bonus for 100 active affiliates, $1,000 per month bonus for 200 active affilaites and much more.
You can join our Builderall Team here (I’ll do all the team custom sales funnel just like mine.
However, my account is still active in Yoonla.
Yoonla Multiple Transformation
When this program started, it said to be Yoonla Foundation, and then it changed to another level called “Evolve”. Now the founder has made a decision not to go for a “Pay per lead program” instead of something different. This program is no longer operate under pay per lead program. You don’t get paid for generating leads or anything.
In my case, I would say I received payments, not on time but somehow Yoonla paid me. But I lost so much of money promoting this program. For example, If I had made $2500 in a particular month, the system removes all unsubscribed leads, no response list, blacklisted and so forth. I am familiar with the software they use but that something not adding up.
Most of the time, I would get paid only 20%-55% of my actual earnings. As I mentioned, I somehow continued to work because I thought some extra money always good. Back in the days, I promoted only Yoonla program but now I moved on to Builderall platform which is reliable and quick on payment.
One thing I didn’t like about Yoonla was too many commission shaving, frequent shifting, unreliable payment date & time and you name it.
This is my past experience with Yoonla. Now let’s move on to the latest version of Yoonla Academy…
All New Yoonla Academy Program – Review
If you are a new person who just came across Yoonla Academy I would say it is still good to join because this time there will be no longer pay per lead program. So you can join but knowing their software platform still there is some room for adjustment of payment, shaving, cookie duration and etc.
I’ll post more information about the new Yoonla Academy once it officially launched.
Keep coming back for more update on this post.
